Welcome to TSPSHAREHOLDERS.ORG
First, we would like to take a moment to thank you for signing up with TSPSHAREHOLDER.ORG.
We realized that there is a major gap between the shareholders of the TSP, and those who make decisions about the TSP's policies. We needed a voice. A way to speak loud and clear to those who make policy.
Our intent is simple. Our goal is to give YOU a voice in the future of your own retirement. We want to help organize TSP Shareholders all over the nation, and give them a vehicle to express their ideas. We're creating a "think tank" of TSP share holders, each adding to the mix, helping with ideas, sharing with others, and then using our collective efforts to influence those who make policy.
Let us resolve to work together to spread the word that we can and WILL make a difference.
Tell your co-workers about TSPShareholder.org. And ask them to join--but more importantly --to tell others about us.
One person alone is a voice in the wilderness.
Two together can make a difference.
Hundreds, and then thousands, working for a common goal, can and will change the world.
Together, we'll make the difference.
Special thanks to the founding members of
TSPSHAREHOLDER.ORG
listed at the bottom of this page.
Without your support, this would not have been possible.
Thank you. |

| On-Line Petition TOPS 500 Signatures
We've set up an on-line petition to collect signatures of TSP Shareholders. The Employee Thrift Advisory Council will be meeting soon in Washington D.C. We want to show them that there is strong support for examining the Thrift Board's proposals carefully, and ensuring that shareholders interests are maintained.
So far, we've collected over 500 signatures. That's a good start, but we need more.
Our petition is simple. We ask the ETAC to reject the proposed limits to the TSP Trade system. Your voice is important to this effort.
Please sign the petition. Then ask your co-workers to sign as well. We hope to gather thousands of signatures to show the ETAC and the next meeting.
You can find the petition on-line at:

First, we want to get the on-line petition growing. Please sign it, and have others sign it as well.
Over the next several weeks, we'll be putting our communications plan into action.
We'll be asking YOU to call and talk with the members of the Employees Thrift Advisory Council. (ETAC). This is the 15 member group that is supposed to represent your interests before the TSP Thrift Board. However, until now, they seldom had to deal with controversial issues.
Our plan includes having YOU pick up the phone and tell each one how you feel about the Thrift Boards plan to curtail trading. You don't have to say much, only that you are not in favor of the restrictions on trades, and that you want the member to vote against the Thrift Board's plan. Each day we will feature a ETAC member, and ask you to call. Then, send us a message back to tell us what that member said. Send your response to: Response@tspshareholder.org
By the time of their next meeting, tentatively scheduled for December 19th, we want them to know exactly how you, as a TSP Share Holder, feel about this plan.
Make your voice heard. |
YOUR SUPPORT IS GOLDEN
We began on Friday by contacting one member of the ETAC. Dozens of people called and left messages. It appears our first targeted ETAC member was not in the office on Friday.
If you have already contacted her, thank you. If not, please do so Monday. She is:
Federally Employed Women Sharon Roydes, Treasurer 1666 K Street, N.W. Suite 440 Washington, DC 20006
Phone: (202) 898-0994
Give her a call, and tell her you are opposed to limits on TSP trades. Tell her what a two trade limit would mean to you. Keep it short, but to the point. Then ASK her to vote no on the two-trade limit.
Please pick up the phone and make the call.
Or, you can send her an e-mail at this address:
Drop her a short e-mail, asking her to oppose TSP trading limits. If you get an e-mail back, let us know.
OUR SECOND ETAC REPRESENTATIVE:
If you've already made the first call to Sharon, or have not called anyone yet, then here is Monday's ETAC member to contact:
National Federation of Federal Employees Richard Brown, President andEmployee Thrift Advisory Council Vice Chairman805 15th Street, NW Suite 500 Washington, DC 20005 Phone: (202) 216-4420 (main)
Richard has a phone mail voice box. Earlier last week we left several messages, but now it is your turn. When you get the main number, you may have to dial by last name to reach his voice mailbox. Please feel free to do so, and fill up his voice mail tonight, and all day Monday. Let Richard know you are opposed to TSP trading limits.
Each day, we will be featuring a different ETAC member. Our goal is to ensure they ALL hear our message-
The message is clear:
Just say no to TSP Trading limits. | |

WELCOME TO
OUR NEWEST ENDORSER
Welcome to our newest endorsing organization, TSP Strategy. They have a Yahoo Group, and discuss different trading and/or holding strategies.
TSP Strategy sent us this supportive message:
"... I unequivocally support both the concept of a TSP employee lobbying organization and your goal of eliminating the new trading restrictions,..."
"...the goal of TSP Strategy members is to maximize our returns, and as one can only do that through changing allocations in a manner that is as unrestricted as possible, we DO whole heartedly support your goal of eliminating trading restrictions..."
and
"Good luck. You have our support."
